Silk and Great Value brand plant based refrigerated beverage recall: replacement and refund program
UPDATE – October 11, 2024: If you purchased a Great Value and/or Silk product subject to the recall and do not have proof of purchase, you can get your refund or replacement by filling out the Silk Canada and Great Value Recall Product Request Form specific to the Silk Canada and Great Value product recall available on the Danone website here.
On July 8, 2024, following the instructions of Danone, the supplier of Silk Brand plant based refrigerated beverages, and in conjunction with the CFIA, Walmart complied with a product recall of various Silk and Great Value plant based refrigerated beverages due to concerns regarding Listeria monocytogenes. The list of products and identifying information can be found at the following link: [Various Silk and Great Value brand plant based refrigerated beverages recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes - Canada.ca. We urge consumers who have purchased these products to follow the instructions provided by the CFIA, in particular, do not consume the recalled products and throw them out or return them to the retail location they were purchased from.
If you purchased any of the recalled products from Walmart, we will replace or refund the impacted product. For those whose purchases were made in person, please attend at your local Walmart store with proof of purchase or with the item itself, which contains the 4-digit product code 7825 and a best-before-date up to and including 24 OC 04.
