Some brands do more than make clothes. They bring back a feeling.

Growing up, I remember my mom wearing Esprit’s iconic fleece sweatshirts and logo tees, and wearing my own pieces from the kids’ collection. I still remember seeing Esprit in the mall and the colourful stores that made the brand feel fun, cool and inspired for the season.
Esprit was a brand that felt like part of our family. That’s what has made bringing Esprit back to Canada at Walmart so special.
Everywhere I turn, people have a story. They remember wearing Esprit in high school, at university or during a particular chapter of their lives. It’s been incredible to watch those memories come flooding back.
My mom’s reaction when I told her we were bringing Esprit to Walmart was exactly what you’d expect: disbelief, followed by excitement. Like so many Canadians, she has a real connection to the brand. She’s already claimed a few favourites – she’ll be rocking her core fleece and I’ve already bought her the striped sweater she had her eye on.
We spent nearly a year bringing this launch to life, and it’s finally come together through signage, product displays and excitement from store associates and customers on social.

It’s comfortable, nostalgic and a perfect example of how we’ve reimagined the brand for a new generation.
