Today, Walmart Canada is launching new Baby Registry and Wedding Registry experiences on Walmart.ca, giving Canadians a simpler way to celebrate major moments with the people they love and a more convenient way to keep gift-giving in one place.
Available online at Walmart.ca and through the Walmart Canada mobile app, the free Walmart Canada Registry is designed to take the guesswork out of gift-giving, helping loved ones choose gifts that are genuinely useful, meaningful and wanted - all at Walmart’s everyday low prices.

As a one-stop shop, Walmart Canada is uniquely positioned to help Canadians build out their registries with a wide assortment of products, including popular national brands and high-quality, reliable Walmart Brands, like Parents’ Choice, Better Homes & Gardens and Mainstays. Baby registries can include essentials like car seats and cribs to formula and toys, while wedding registries can cover everything from cookware and bedding to small appliances and home décor, making it easy to build a registry that fits real life needs.

Registries for life’s biggest milestones
Getting started takes just a few steps: sign into a Walmart.ca account, choose an event type, add key details, and start building a wishlist. From day one, customers can add items online or scan barcodes in store using the Walmart Canada mobile app at more than 400 locations nationwide
Registry owners can create and manage their registry through their Walmart.ca account and invite a co‑owner to help manage it. Both owners have equal access to item lists, settings, and notifications, and can easily share the registry link with guests.
For gift‑givers, the experience is just as straightforward. Friends, family, and colleagues can browse registries through a shared link or public search and shop online. Purchases automatically update the registry, helping everyone avoid duplicates and keeping things simple.
With convenient delivery options, customers can get registry items shipped quickly and easily, helping ensure gifts arrive when they’re needed most.
* Offer available to Baby Registry registrants who open a baby registry and add a minimum of 20 unique Baby category items to their baby registry. Registrant qualifies for a Welcome Gift once $25 or more before taxes and fees is spent on Baby category items from their registry. Minimum spend requirement may be made in a single transaction or cumulatively, by the registrant and/or their loved ones, and must be completed within a calendar year of the date the Registry was first opened to qualify. Once all offer criteria are met, the registrant will receive an email to the email address associated with their Walmart account, with the details on how to claim a Welcome Gift.
