Today, on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, Walmart Canada will donate $1 to Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundation through Children’s Miracle Network for every toy sold, up to a maximum of $200,000. Every toy sold helps make a difference, funding critical programs at children’s hospitals across the country. It’s a simple way to turn holiday shopping into hope for children and families who need it most.
Walmart Canada’s commitment goes beyond donations. A group of Walmart Store Managers recently visited McMaster Children’s Hospital to see firsthand the impact of their fundraising efforts. They learned how these contributions support advanced care and comfort for young patients and while they were there, they surprised some young patients with toys to brighten their hospital. It was a powerful reminder that every dollar raised truly changes lives.
