Walmart Canada is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the Walmart Canada Associate Scholarship program, which continues to empower the next generation of leaders by supporting the academic dreams of our associates and their families. This year, we awarded 73 scholarships totaling $146,000 to graduating high school students who are either Walmart associates or dependents of associates helping them take the next step toward a brighter future.
The Walmart Canada Associate Scholarship is more than financial support—it’s a recognition of hard work and ambition. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional dedication to their education and community, and we’re honoured to be part of their journey.

We’re incredibly proud of this year’s recipients and excited to see what they accomplish next.”
Among this year’s recipients is Summerside, PEI Walmart associate Jeremy Joby, who shared, “I’m truly grateful to receive the Walmart Canada Associate Scholarship. This support means a lot and motivates me even more to make the most of this opportunity and achieve my goals.” Jeremy’s words reflect the spirit of the program—encouraging students to dream big and work hard.
Another recipient, Jayden Courtney who plans to attend College of the North Atlantic said, “Getting the Walmart scholarship means so much to me. It’s not just about the money—it’s knowing that someone believes in me and what I’m working toward. It’s a huge boost of confidence to keep pushing forward.”

The Associate Scholarship Program is one of many initiatives Walmart Canada supports to strengthen communities and invest in education. Since 2000, Walmart Canada has awarded more than 1,500 scholarships totaling close to $2.9 million to associates or their dependents through this program.
