This year’s journey brings something particularly exciting: a flavour inspired by bold spices, rich tradition and a growing appetite for global cuisine.
The inspiration behind the flavour
Masala isn’t just a flavour, it’s an experience. A fragrant mix of spices like black pepper, cardamom, chili peppers, cinnamon, clove, coriander, cumin, ginger and turmeric, masala has long been a cornerstone of cooking on the Indian subcontinent and beyond. This includes Canada, where it continues to quickly gain fans across the country as more Canadians look to expand their palates.
