Opt out from receiving promotional communications from Walmart |
You may withdraw your consent for marketing communications that Walmart sends to you, at any time. To opt-out of marketing messages, follow the instructions in your email or text message (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.), or by changing the settings under “Communication Preferences” in the settings of your account if you are an accountholder.
Otherwise, feel free to request change to your communication preferences by contacting the Privacy Office at CAPrivacy@walmart.com. If you contact us by email or mail, please be sure to include your full name, the types of communications you would like to receive or not receive, and your contact information. For instance, if you would like to opt out of mail, include your mailing address. Please allow sufficient time for your preferences to be processed. It may take up to 10 days to process your requests related to email and text message (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.), and 4-6 weeks for other requests.
Please note that for push notifications in the App, you are able to manage your preferences within your device settings.
NOTE: Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still contact you when required or permitted by law such as to send you transaction-related communications or recall notices. Also, if you opt out, we may retain your email address and/or mobile number, as applicable, to confirm that we do not send you further communications.

Opt out of sharing geolocation information |
You may choose not to provide your location to us by customizing your mobile device settings to prevent sharing of location information. You may also prevent the sharing of device location information by disabling Bluetooth on your device, turning your device on to “airplane mode” or turning your device off.
NOTE: If you opt out or disable the geo-location function, some features of our websites may not function properly (i.e., if you reside in Quebec, you may need to manually select French as your language preference rather than French automatically displaying). |
