From the moment I joined Walmart Canada, I knew this was a place where I could grow both personally and professionally.
Just four months in, I stepped into a team leader in training role, which opened my eyes to the endless opportunities here.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the startup of every Perishable Distribution Centre (PDC) across Canada.
These experiences gave me hands-on experience in operations and frontline management, allowing me to learn and grow alongside incredible teams in Mississauga, Calgary, Cornwall, and Moncton.
One of the most rewarding moments of my career came when I had the opportunity to lead the launch of the Moncton PDC as General Manager.
This was more than a milestone – it was a turning point. It brought my journey full circle, bringing together everything I’d learned and experienced over the years. It gave me the opportunity to build my own team and instill Walmart’s core values and culture from the ground up.
Outside of work, I’ve been coaching soccer for years—a role that mirrors so much of what I love about my job.
Whether it’s on the soccer field or in the workplace, success comes from listening, developing others, building strong relationships, and working as a team to achieve shared goals. Seeing people grow, enjoy what they do, and recognize their impact is incredibly rewarding.
At Walmart, no matter your role, you’re contributing to helping Canadians save money and live better. I’m proud to work for a company that makes such a meaningful difference in our communities every day.
