In her current role, Michon is responsible for core systems strategy and delivery, technology infrastructure and operations, infosec and architecture across stores, pharmacies, supply chain, merchandising, core data platforms, associate tools and enterprise technology (including real estate). 

Michon joined Walmart Canada in 2021 as Vice President, Product and Delivery and was responsible for stewarding our investment in technology.

Prior to working at Walmart, Michon was Vice President, Information Technology, Canada Country Lead at The TJX Companies Inc. (Winners, Homesense, Marshalls). She also worked in increasingly senior IT roles at some of Canada’s largest banks including Bank of Montreal (BMO) and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).

Michon is a long-time advocate of the environment and inclusion and leads programs in support of green technology and to promote and advance diversity in technology.

Michon holds a Master of Management Analytics from Queen’s University, an MBA in Strategy and Accounting from Schulich School of Business – York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from McMaster University.
