In her current role, Sara leads Walmart Canada’s People function, supporting the growth and success of more than 100,000 associates across our stores, sites and offices. She champions associate engagement, fosters a culture of belonging, and helps shape an innovative workplace that’s people-led and tech-powered.

Sara brings more than 20 years of experience in retail, hospitality, and consumer packaged goods. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of People & Culture at Indigo Books and Music, where she led the HR function with distinction. She has also held senior HR leadership roles at Andrew Peller Limited and Starbucks Coffee Company.

Regarded as a trusted business partner, Sara is known for helping organizations grow, transform, and thrive through excellence in people practices. She is passionate about enabling leaders to build highly engaged teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Sara holds both a Master of Child Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
