In his current role Matt leads the Walmart Canada Supply Chain team, with the primary responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's supply chain operations. This includes overseeing the end-to-end flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.

Matt began his journey with Walmart Canada in October 2022 and has since led the Supply Chain Reinvention and Supply Chain Planning functions.

Prior to joining Walmart, he worked for a world-leading logistics and freight forwarding company based in Europe, where he held the position of Head of Engineering, Project Management, and Innovation, bringing technology, software, and hardware into customer solutions.

Matt has held various leadership roles at large retailers, focusing on distribution and e-commerce fulfillment operations, network design and optimization, and business transformation. He started his career in the British Army as a Captain in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Matt grew up in the United Kingdom and has also lived in Germany and Canada. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester Business School.
