In his current role, Joe is Head of Store Operations for Walmart Canada. He is responsible for running operations in more than 400 stores across Canada, serving customers on the front line, and leading more than 70,000 store associates to deliver on Walmart’s purpose of helping people save money so they can live better.

Prior to the role, he was Walmart Canada’s Chief of Staff to the CEO and Vice President of Store Operations.

Before joining Walmart Canada, Joe was Vice President of International Operations and Realty with Walmart International. 

Joe joined Walmart in 2000 as a Garden Centre Associate. Over the next 20-plus years, he has worked in various Walmart U.S. roles across the country, including but not limited to Store Manager, Market Manager, Divisional Asset Protection Director and Vice President of Asset Protection.  As Vice President of Asset Protection, he provided strategic leadership direction for over 1.2 million associates.
