In his current role, Aly leads the strategy function including the execution of strategic projects at Walmart Canada.

Prior to this role, Aly was Vice President of Construction, Engineering & Facilities Management, driving the remodeling of Walmart stores.

At Walmart Canada, Aly has previously served as Vice President Format Development, Vice President Operations, Senior Director Store Productivity -  Innovation, Process Improvement, Wage Planning and Store Structures.  Aly started his Walmart career as part of the International Global Process Team focused on Canadian, UK and African businesses. 

Prior to Walmart, Aly was part of the Management Consulting practice at Accenture, a Software Startup, and the Finance team at IBM Software Group.

Aly is a Chartered Professional Accountant and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Western University.
