Walmart Canada buys from a variety of Canadian businesses providing products for these departments: grocery, apparel, toys, beauty, electronics, furniture, baby, health, and appliances. In the last 12 months, Walmart sourced more than $3.3 billion worth of products from Quebec-based suppliers. Supercentres in Quebec are selling Canadian beef, chicken, pork and seafood supplied locally by the province's farmers. This represents approximately 350,000 kg of meat per year supplied by Quebec-based company Olymel. Aliments du Québec certification label highlights locally-sourced food offered in Quebec stores. Featured Business Brands Canadian Outlet—For 20 years, this Toronto-based partner has been an all-inclusive provider of electronics, with high standards for all of their products. IMGadgets—Jumping in on the early technology of hoverboards, this Mississauga business was born in 2015 and now has many of their products now patented. BéBéLéLo Inc. from Laval, Quebec is a family business specializing in superior quality baby furniture and other products, all made in Canada. Lulabelle & Co. is a Quebec-based supplier of organic, gluten-free baking products. DeeBee’s Organics. Located in Victoria, BC, DeeBee’s makes clean-label, delicious and organic treats. Featured Growers Walmart sources directly and indirectly from more than 600 growers across Canada. Mastronardi Produce in Kingsville, Ontario—growing tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and berries for more than 65 years. Champ’s Fresh Farms Inc. in Aldergrove, British Columbia —growing conventional and organic white, cremini, and portobello mushrooms for over 20 years. Les Productions Margiric Inc. In Laval, Quebec—growing peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, cantaloupe, cucumbers, celery, and organic mini cucumbers lettuce since 1973. Drost Farms in Rolling Hills, Alberta—growing carrots and other quality vegetables for over 50 years.
