In a year full of challenges and unprecedented events, Walmart Canada was there for associates and customers alike.

In every store and across every position, our associates went above and beyond. The responsibility of providing an essential service meant showing up for work, ready to serve customers and communities during an extraordinary time.

Since day one, we’ve been working in stores, at distribution centres, remotely and on the road to help Canadians at a time when they needed us most.

With more stores offering pickup and delivery, we fulfilled a record number of online grocery orders. Fleet drivers logged over 100,000 kilometres daily, moving record loads to keep stores stocked with in-demand items.

All this was done while prioritizing safety for our customers and associates. We were able to pull together to maintain our reputation as a reliable retailer, earning continued customer trust and loyalty during the pandemic.

Find out how Walmart Canada reacted to the global pandemic, looking out for associates and customers.
