Everyday Low Prices
Saving Canadians money has been our mission since we opened
the first Walmart in Canada more than 20 years ago, and today we’re more
committed than ever to that promise. We want to make it easy for customers to
know they are getting the best value for their money, and finding everything
they need, all under one roof. As part of that promise, we’ve worked to
identify the products that customers buy most often such as bananas and paper
towels with a visible “everyday low price” mark in store and online. Canadians
can be sure they are always getting the lowest price on these items, day in and

The Products You Want
Our customers are diverse and so are their needs and tastes. We are committed to bringing our customers the products they want at low prices every day. In Canada, Walmart is proud to celebrate the many cultures respected by our customers through our “Store of the Community” offering. Population growth is almost entirely driven by new Canadians and there is an increase in demand for ethnic foods. It is not uncommon to see a variety of kosher and halal food products, as well as Asian, Indian and Latin influences in Walmart Canada stores. Walmart Canada’s "Store of the Community" products meet this need by assessing each market to identify and meet the demand for ethnic products.
