Building Strong Communities

Children's Miracle Network
Supporting families in need is at the heart of Walmart Canada's giving program. Families going through the unimaginable stress of caring for a critically ill child need the support of their communities to stay strong and ensure their child receives the best medical care possible. Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children at 170 hospitals across North America, 14 of which are in Canada. As the top supporter of Children’s Miracle Network for more than 20 years, Walmart donates and raises funds for Canadian children’s hospitals through numerous initiatives both in-store and at the corporate-level and has donated and raised more than $100 million to this important organization. The funds raised and donated by Walmart Canada directly impact the quality and level of care received by the 4,900 children being treated at these Canadian hospitals every day.
Champions Program
From hosting the Champions award ceremonies in our stores to bringing a princess party to a child at the hospital who is unable to attend a ceremony at-store, Walmart Canada is passionate about the Children’s Miracle Champions program and incredibly humbled to be part of this important cause.
