What is the Walmart.ca Affiliate Program?
The Walmart.ca Affiliate Program is a way for you to earn commissions by placing banner ads or text links on your website to refer customers to Walmart.ca. You'll earn money every time a visitor follows a Walmart.ca link on your Web site and then completes a qualifying purchase at Walmart.ca.
What is LinkShare?
Walmart.ca uses LinkShare as our Affiliate Service Provider. LinkShare provides Walmart.ca affiliates with one simple interface to track all their sales, impressions, click-throughs and commissions. Access to site information is password protected. LinkShare and Walmart.ca do not collect or track any customer information that may be sensitive, such as credit card numbers or private data.
How does the Walmart.ca Affiliate Program work?
We provide you with professionally designed banners and a set of useful text links every week in our newsletter. We also provide you access to archived banners and newsletters for a wide selection of items to place on your site. In addition, you can generate specific text links to anything on Walmart.ca, any time you want. Place these banners and/or text links on your Web site to let your visitors know about our products. When your visitors follow the links and banners to our site and then complete a qualifying purchase, your account is credited with a commission. You do not need a Walmart.ca affiliate account to access banners and text links.

No. It is absolutely free to join the Walmart.ca Affiliate Program. Once you are approved, you can get started right away!
What is included in the affiliate membership?
You’ll receive a weekly newsletter with banners, links and information about great products to feature on your site. You’ll also receive access to the Affiliate Member Center, where you can get more banners, generate links and get data feeds to further customize your Walmart.ca referrals to your visitors. You’ll also have the support of the Walmart.ca Affiliate account team members, and all the great tools our partner LinkShare provides. We make it as easy as possible for you to get the most out of the program.
Is my website eligible?
Our affiliate team reviews each application carefully and determines eligibility at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time, for any reason. How much can I earn?
Affiliates can earn up to 4% on each eligible sale when a customer links directly to a Walmart.ca link on your website and completes a qualifying purchase on Walmart.ca.
Commission Structure

How are commissions paid?
Commissions are paid on monthly net sales, and do not include returns, sales tax or shipping and handling.
How do I keep track of my sales and commissions?
Using the LinkShare interface, you can access daily reports that provide information on impressions, click-throughs, orders, sales and commissions earned.
What happens if a customer I referred returns a product?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
What kind of links are available to use for my website?
Once approved as an affiliate, you'll have access to a variety of links to feature on your website. The types of links include multiple sizes of banners and buttons, text links to department, category and item pages, as well as Dynamic Rich Media links.

How do I join?

1. Join LinkShare. (If you are a LinkShare member, add us to your merchant list.)
2. Sign up for an affiliate account at Walmart.ca. You will need your LinkShare ID to do this.
