Rhonda Maines-Corrado is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Walmart Canada. 

She first joined Walmart Canada in April 2003 as corporate counsel and was promoted to associate general counsel, corporate/commercial in 2005. In this role, Rhonda supported the business in a wide range of initiatives including the launch of Supercentres, Walmart Canada Bank, walmart.ca and the acquisition of logistics and transportation businesses.

Earlier in her career she served as law clerk for the British Columbia Supreme Court.  Rhonda worked closely with a team of judges on a range of matters from criminal to commercial.  She also practiced corporate/commercial law for 5 years at a large firm in downtown Toronto.

Rhonda was selected as first Global Subject Matter Leader for Consumer Protection in 2013 and participated actively in the creation of the International Compliance Consumer Protection program.  In addition, Rhonda founded and co-chaired the Global Marketing and Merchandising Forum for WM Lawyers, resulting in substantial leveraging of ideas and resources among markets.

Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Victoria.
