Walk for Miracles Enters its 10th Year

Over the past 10 years, thousands of Canadians from across the country have come together and walked half-a-million kilometres, the equivalent of walking around the world 12 times, in an effort to raise crucial funds for  Children's Miracle Network as part of the annual Walmart Walk for Miracles campaign. The work of Children’s Miracle Network is more critical than ever – in fact, 4,900 children walk through the doors of a Canadian Children’s Miracle Network hospital every day. Walmart is a proud corporate sponsor of the work Children’s Miracle Network does to save and improve the lives of children across the country and we’re calling on Canadians of all ages to join us in supporting children’s hospitals this June.

As we approach a decade of supporting Children’s Miracle Network through the Walk for Miracles, we’re encouraging Canadians  in every community to consider taking small steps that will make a big difference in the lives of children in need. Every dollar raised will help fund ground-breaking research and critical health care for more than 2.6 million children, creating real-life miracles for our most vulnerable citizens.

On June 9, Canadians can participate at one of 12 walk locations across the country or can host their own fundraiser close to home. Last year, over 15,000 people of all ages took part in Walk for Miracles activities, raising a record-breaking $6.2 million, but we’re confident we can reach even greater heights this year with your help.
