At Walmart, we strive to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. As a result, we have supported thousands of local efforts across the country since 1994.

One of the ways we accomplish this is through local fundraising and the Local Matching Grants Program. Each store is awarded an annual local matching grant budget which allows them to match funds raised through in-store initiatives, giving them the freedom to support the charities or non-profit organizations that mean the most to their communities.
